Non-emergency patient transport

ERS image

ERS Medical provides non-emergency patient transport for patients registered with GP Practices in Norwich, West Norfolk, North Norfolk and South Norfolk.

Non-emergency patient transport is only provided to patients who have regular hospital journeys (for example regular dialysis) or because their health condition leaves them unable to make the journey without support.

If your clinician believes you may be eligible for patient transport, the ERS Medical booking line is 0333 240 4100.

Further information regarding ERS Medical can be found at www.ersmedical.co.uk

EERS Medical is also working with Voluntary Norfolk to bring the ‘Car Link’ Volunteer Drivers’ Scheme back into operation. The Scheme will recruit and train volunteer drivers to transport patients and clients to health, social care and wellbeing appointments. Additionally, its national apprenticeship scheme, in partnership with YMCA Training, will see ERS Medical offering career opportunities locally to candidates aged 18 to 24. The scheme presents an opportunity to work within the healthcare sector on either a one or two-year fixed term contract while gaining Level 2 and 3 NVQ qualifications. Visit www.ersmedical.co.uk/volunteers for more information.
