The CCG held a 12 week-consultation on our proposals for a New Model of Care for Norwich. When the consultation ended we asked HealthWatch Norfolk to analyse the results and produce a report for us.
We advertised the consultation and events through both local print and radio media as well as on Twitter. We held ten public roadshows across different locations in the Norwich CCG area, enabling the public to share their feedback. 142 surveys were distributed at the roadshows. During the consultation HealthWatch Norfolk advertised the consultation on their website and additional surveys were distributed by the WI and a further 320 surveys were circulated by the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH).
pdf The report by Healthwatch Norfolk (546 KB) was taken to the CCG's Governing Body in January 2019 and as a result our Head of Planning produced feedback following an outcomes workshop to discuss the findings of the consultation and report. pdf This further report can be found here. (233 KB)
NHS Norwich CCG has, for the past five years, been working towards integrating health and care services for the residents of Norwich. We have ‘road-tested’ a number of new and innovative ways of working across the public, voluntary and independent sectors and now we need to move to the next stage by forming an alliance with our providers to enable us to integrate (work closer together) for the benefit of patients and carers.
